I graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha in May of 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising and a second field of concentration in art.

I grew up in Blair, Nebraska and moved to Lincoln and then Omaha during college. I worked as a graphic designer for a few different t-shirt shops in Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska over the years.

When I had my daughter, Becksly, in October of 2013, I decided to become a work at home mom. I own my own LLC, jojo’s Designs and enjoy fulfilling orders from my Etsy shop.

In 2017 I landed my current job at Schemmer as a Marketing Specialist where I do anything from creating ads, writing blog posts, and heading up direct mail campaigns to designing and putting together proposals, statements of qualifications and sending out press releases – to name a few.

In July of 2021 I had my son, Luca, and I also have a bonus son, Beau, through my boyfriend, Jake. I love my family of five more than anything and they will always come first. I thrive on being able to be a hands-on mom while also being successful in my career.
